Iron Horse Ranch is located just 15 minutes north of Sandpoint on Highway 95. The town of Sandpoint is well known as a summer and winter playground. Lake Pend Oreille, at 2,000 feet elevation, is the second largest natural fresh water lake west of the Mississippi, second only to Flathead Lake in northern Montana. Traveling south on Highway 95 to Coeur d’Alene for 45 minutes, provides similar summer water sports activities and easy access to Spokane, Washington and its international airport. Traveling farther north on Highway 95, you will pass through Bonner’s Ferry and the Canadian border.
